Has the RIF at HHS affected any of your contracts/projects? I was just starting to pivot towards health as my industry specialty, now I'm trying to get as far away as possible and dig in to defense again. But it feels like nowhere is really safe tbh.

Defense isn’t necessarily safer. Hegseth is canceling a lot of DOD contracts.

One of our subcontractor partners just had a big scope reduction, and we’re scrambling to figure out what’s still viable. I had also been focusing more on health projects, now it feels like the rug’s been pulled. I totally get the urge to pivot, but like you said, nowhere’s actually stable right now.

Hi everyone! In your experience, what is the one tool / must-have / methodology any of your companies use to bring about a cohesive and comprehensive go-to-market strategy in the launch of new products and services? As a company scales, coordinating cross-functionally and across time zones is becoming increasingly challenging so we have identified that we need frameworks or tools to help us go-to-market in a less clumsy, more coordinated fashion. Would love to get your ideas on this.

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at my firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. Is this normal in the entertainment world? Any suggestions?

i studied business law with a focus on international corporate law and have been working in bankruptcy law for two years now. During my studies I worked in the entertainment industry for five years as an organizer for various festivals in the country and realized that i simply enjoy this industry the most. Meaning I would now like to change as a career changer.... Does anyone have any tips for me on how to apply? So far I've only received rejections and I'm slowly losing motivation 🥲
