Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.

Negotiating a settlement. I’m at $10k, opposing counsel is at $20k. My client won’t go higher than $15k. OC has come down to 17.5k and says his client won’t budge from that. Do I offer 12.5k so we can hopefully meet in the middle at 15k? Is that how the settlement game is played? Seems dumb we can’t just say let’s meet in the middle now and be done with this. (I’m a first year, first time negotiating a settlement on my own and I don’t want to screw this up!)

Hi everyone, I got hired on as entry level sales operations role back in January. It quickly turned into sales, and eventually all the sales for the small company once the head of sales left. I am happy to take on the additional role for my company, and they are going to let me. But they feel that without multiple people in a sales department the title head of sales might not be the best title. I have input in what my updated position title and salary would be. Just got a lateral hire offer for a Sr Associate role with BCG. Contract states that I can go for Consultant promo in 12 months. I'm interpreting this as, if I don't make the promo threshold in 12 months, I'd be counseled out. Is this a reasonable assumption? Or would I get a few more months of time to work on feedback?
