What do you mean? We have a cohort model and you’d come in as an Associate.
Absolutely, it's very important to find those -good- people in both settings! I moved from an internal role to client-facing, and currently an SC. I am home grown and have great relations with leadership. My reality is some of the great managers I trust and jive with on both aspects have moved on, and I'd have to build ties with new ones. It's fine, but I've also contemplated on what it's like elsewhere and had doubts if I'd ever find a good culture/team as the one I'm used to. Your experience assures me it's possible! What do you mean to put money on the table? Do you mean to ask how to negotiate your offer for a higher compensation?
Imo, the chances of squeezing much out of HR is low. Don’t worry about the pay - it will be fine. Just focus on your interviews and actually landing an offer.

They will tell you the comp. Add like $25k. Then they’ll probably tell you it is what it is. Then accept anyway.
