Although Amazon has instituted a hiring freeze and layoffs are probably on their way, I went through the loop for a security engineer position at AWS. Before I attended the final interviews, Amazon placed the hiring freeze and called me to ask if I wanted to go ahead or cancel my application. I decided do go ahead Right now I'm waiting for their response and the position I applied to changed from "under consideration" to "no longer under consideration". Thoughts?
Hello! Question for anyone that works at Google if I have hit my 3 applications per 90 days can I still apply to an additional role through a referral link? Or will I have to wait until the 90 days is up? Actually asking for a friend that doesn’t have this app 😊 thanks in advance for any insight.
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

1. Always 1.
I heard from a career coach that the resume can be longer now, that the old one page and two page limits were a thing 10yrs ago but nothing anymore.
No. 1 page. Being concise and highlighting the most critical / pertinent experience is a skill in itself
The only scenario for 2 pages I can see is MAYBE if you’re a senior partner but at that point, who is reading your resume?
You can do two. But it needs to be a full two
Interesting. Internal BcG career coaches say 2 pages - so looks like I’ve got to have both versions. Wish there was some kind of standard.
Is this bifurcated by industry?
Tech - 1 page
All others - 2 pages ok?

Why would you need two ? At your level , wouldn’t most of your interviews come in through alum referrals and the resume is just mire off a prop in the process ? Genuinely curious about this
I used two pager and just got a job with AWS

I’ve had decent luck with 2 pages, but I’ve got 17+ YOE and a couple industry changes.
