Promotions are like parenting. You’re never ready until you have the role. Take it.
Absolutely — I think many of us have faced that crossroads at some point. From my experience, it helps to break it down: what parts of the role excite you, and where do you feel the biggest gaps? Sometimes growth looks intimidating at first, but with the right support and mindset, you rise to the challenge faster than expected. That said, it’s also smart (and courageous) to pause and reflect if the timing isn’t right. Trust your instincts — they’re part of what got you this opportunity in the first place!
Is this not what you have been working towards? Do it, you'll catch it, it may require some late nights and some podcast mentoring but you'll make it. Believe in yourself! Never hold yourself back when it's what you're working for in the first place!

Take it. The job market is very competitive right now. The best way to learn is to throw yourself into the fire. Creative leaders are problem solvers... have faith that you will figure it out.
