People have a lot of problems with Bangalore infrastructure. Why don't people chose WFH?

Have a job offer for an accounting manager position. Fully remote, but working 50-60 hours a week. Base salary is 115k and on top of that get stock options. Is that a base salary? Located in FL

Any advice for monitoring employees while working from home? Our phone system works from an app in our cells and we have remote access to our files and computers. So should be business as usual but doesn’t seem so. Either they aren’t working or they aren’t being productive. Either way, looking for some ideas to keep the staff productive and accountable.

I am a 10 yr lawyer. 7 yrs in my practice area. Little over a year at current firm. Still an associate. Im at large plaintiff firm w/ billable requirements. I do mass/class cases and hold a couple leadership positions (these were competitive to get). What should salary be and when should I make partner. I’ll add I work remote and pretty autonomously. Little contact with partners or anyone at my firm.

I recently started at a small international startup (~130 employees) and I love it! My question is about company culture since there aren’t many US employees and we’re all remote. At what point does a startup focus on company culture? I don’t want to bring it up because it’s not at all the focus of my role, but there seems to be a lack of cohesion on the team.

My school deliberately cut the number of classes that the specials teachers teach so that we could be building subs for quarantined and sick teachers (we are hybrid). So... I teach fewer classes (which is a relief because specials teachers teach way more classes than core teachers normally) but I'm pulled for most of my planning periods to babysit classes.
