I don't think you are "settling."I believe you are just coming to a conclusion based on your objective comparison of what you have and what else is available. If more married couples did that, there'd be a whole lot fewer divorces.
Maybe you just haven't found the right fit yet. Nothing wrong with staying where you are until that happens.
No doesn’t mean you’re settling. It’s helping shed a different perspective on your current job.
No but you may need to review your perception of your current job to see if there are modifiable things you don’t love that contribute to less job satisfaction. Maybe it is the right job. Could be an issue with ancient practices preventing innovation, bad or inexperienced management, toxic co-workers or environment, or even as simple as run-of-the-mill boredom.
