Big 4 brings all of the info you need. They all have comparable reputations and and difference is really immaterial, anyone who says otherwise works at one of the ones they are saying is more reputable.
Biggest differentiator is culture and people, that varies by OFFICE not by firm get to know all the people from each office you’re looking to work in and make the decision based off of that.
Salary should be comparable and differences should be expected to be based off of need of that office and you should expect the more money the more short staffed currently. Just good for thought
I did the opposite route for PwC to EY and found the same thing… the issue is the more busy you are the less visibility you have to trainings and trying out new things….
Really depends on the office and what those partners care about and push…

What PTO can be better than "unlimited"...:)
They’re all the same. Pick the people.
Culture matters more than recognition
Deloitte and PwC are fersure superior in M&A

Literally no client cares. They’re going for the accountants who can bid the cheapest and where the partner isn’t rude.
Agreed with the last paragraph. Took lower offer and wouldn’t match by $5k on base due to the fact that office was a sweat shop/struggling at the moment
I didn’t think the $5k was worth It. I didn’t like the people as much either and Deloitte has better PTO than EY/KPMg that I valued at $5k
Campus hire in their Deal Rotation. Biggest differentiator for me was being able to rotate between FDD and Strategy. Being staffed on CDD and ODD projects was pretty rad.
Otherwise I think it depends on culture and the people you like the most. I don’t think there’s really anything different between FDD shops. M&A activity has been crazy and we’ve been turning down deals. I’m sure it’s the same for other B4s
I see applications open at every firm on LinkedIn, what’s your point?
If you want to stay long term, another way to check if culture is good is to go on LinkedIn and see how long people stay at the firm of your location. High turnover (people leave within 1-2 yrs) is not where you wanna be.
Not sure where KPMG and EY rank, but I know Deloitte pays their FDD group better. Speaking of, what's the Deloitte FDD group called?
Oh, fascinating.
