Have the big companies like HCL, Wipro, Cognizant completely stopped hiring?

The market is tough obviously and i rarely get calls, but whenever i get it's companies which are small and less employee strength.

I'm surprised not even a single call from those companies which employ lacs of people, are they on hiring freeze or what

For context, I don’t think they misled me. The job changed 3 weeks after I got hired, and got stuck in a role that’s just not a good fit. Gave it 6 months of honest effort and I’m ready to start job hunting.

I have an offer from CTS (20lpa). Now that I've decided to leave, my PM has agreed to increase 5lpa and is very confident that I will travel onsite in Q1, next year for 2 years (he is ready to get this emailed by his manager).

I have been lurking on fishbowl for a bit and it seems that my billable expectations at my small firm are too high (1850).
