Hi guys, Now VMware is offering me a 35% percent hike of what I am earning at DellEmc. I just completed one year at DellEmc. Total 2.7YOE But I don't like to go out of Dell, due to some personal commitments I am planning to switch.
Is it a good time to switch?
Can I talk with my manager ?
Are they able to hike the salary of what VMware is offering? Please suggest me.

Hi Sharks, I am asked to sign the offer letter. It's kind of an agreement between me and the company for accepting the offer and compensation numbers. Of course It doesn't have statments like I have to join the company on signing this. My question is that 1. If I get a better offer can I go and ask them to revise the offer? 2. If they are giving salary hike then wait for 6 months. If you fly onsite then well an good else again try for a switch
I am also worried about the inevitable recession, which could potentially slow down the hiring velocity in IT MNCs for a few quarters or maybe a couple of years.
Just one simple advice - don't believe CTS offer.
And what's the guarantee of job in CTS after recession?
For current company you are a valuable employee so your job is safe in recession .

You’re saying that going to onsite in Q1, are you done with all travelling documents first if yes then stay back if you’re seeking to visit onsite. If you are looking for pay only then ask your manager to give same hike that you got from congnizant don’t be in dilemma what exactly you want first be clear on that
Just One Simple Advice - Don't believe them.
I will suggest do not trust your PM so easily. same situation was with me. He told me to revoke with less refitment and will promote me in next appraisal cycle. But that day never comes in my life.
I got an good offer from good company approx 200% hike. And manager still saying plz revoke i will do the same in next appraisal cycle.

Bhai first thing they already underpaying you as per your exp. Now CTS offering you almost 3 times your exp which should have been offered by them. Aur bhai we Indians are not beggars you can directly apply for outside opportunities by yourself. One solution I can suggest you is ask your PM to increment your salary effective Apr'22. That will give you some 2.5L of arrear. Also get onsite email in written, don't sign any bonds and start looking for job from Feb onwards. if they don't fulfill their commitment, you can switch on top of your 15 LPA package.
Am here in CTS for last 8.8 years and can tell you from exp that they have abundance of onsite opportunities in CTS too. In fact they have one of the largest no of openings onsite among Indian it firms as they don't bid for domestic projects. So would suggest you to ask CTS recruiter to provide you onsite assurance on top of CTC too. Also would suggest don't stay with current company if they are not matching with offer. Ask them to match current offer and then provide additional benefits (onsite, promotion etc) else don't stay.
