Have you heard of going from IT/IT Strategy at the Big 4 into Finance/Banking/General Strategy in industry? How feasible is that path?

I have a question, from an HR perspective which master has more job scopes globally? Financial Management or Finance & Investment?

Are any BBs or EBs still looking for experienced hires? I have 2 years of deal-focused strategy consulting for buy side and sell side biopharmaceutical firms (includes asset valuations, market models and risk adjusted NPV models). I am looking to break into investment banking and would love to do so without having to get my MBA. Any insights/tips would be GREATLY appreciate.

Currently in Private Equity (in India), have an offer to join the PE practice of MBB in SGP. What are the exit options like? Would it help if i stayed in India PE role for a few more years and then try to move or would gaining SEA experience help get me into a PE role in SGP in a few years? Unsure about what to do.. worked as an analyst out of school for $60K 2017-2019. Left after 1yr due to a toxic work environment & to care for my grandpa who had cancer in 2019. Was out of work for 2 years & now have an offer in accounting for the government at $40K. Should I take it because any job is better than nothing or should I keep interviewing & wait for something more aligned with my goals & salary expectations. Don’t want to make the wrong choice again.

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

I need your views and suggestions. I have two doubts:
1. Is it fair to leave an organisation (big brand) after a year as the environment is real toxic and there’s no career growth as well in terms of good work.
2. If I have to make a switch do I really have to target big brands only or can try for medium and small size companies too.

Things are apparently going to get better after a client will be leaving, I’ll get to work on different brands but I am feeling pretty burnt out from the agency I’m at. Will new clients help?
