I am interviewing for a role, during these crisis times, is it a good time to shift jobs? Is Autodesk doing layoffs, performance based cuts during these difficult times, considering Google, Microsoft, Infosys doing layoffs, hiring freeze, etc..

I have been laid off going on 3 months now and I’ve never felt so discouraged in my life. This job hunt for me has been frustrating and draining. It really has taken a toll on my mental health and maybe even confidence. I feel like I’m losing momentum. Any advice on staying positive throughout this journey? It’s so hard to stay upbeat and motivated at times.

Didn't have top grades, wasn't on law review. Worked at a midsize firm and was laid off in march-- have about 3 years experience in a hot practice area. Was Laid Off without a PIP but with strong positive reviews and delivering quality work. Ashamed of how EY Leadership is throwing dirt on it's laid off employees by emphasising layoffs were "Performance Based". Mean, Stealthy and Dishonest, COVID has exposed the dirty, selfish leadership mindset. To my colleagues laid off, its the failure of the business not your caliber as professionals.
