Hello all, I am a Data scientist/Gen AI developer with overall 8 years experience and relevant to data science and Gen ai of about 4.5 years.
I am trying to switch jobs, and I have noticed a pattern during the interview process. I am able to clear 1st rounds of the interview, but somehow not able to crack the second round. This has happened 4-5 times now. I am able to answer almost 85 to 90 percent questions satisfactorily but still getting rejected.

Is anyone else facing this issue?

After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy).
