I have been in the US for 3 years and I am an ELV/ICT engineer. Can anyone tell me what my type of engineer is called in the US?

I’m not finding postings with this job title. Is there an equivalent/another name for an ELV (extra low voltage) engineer?

My field includes access control, networking, computers, CCTV, fire alarm systems, and the design, supervision, and installation of these.

I know there must be jobs in this field here but I am at a loss for how to market myself!

First-year tax staff that started end of Q3, and just had my first year-end performance evaluation meeting. Still a blank slate in terms of tax experience, but I honestly do have a slight interest in international tax. Brought it up and I was given some names to find some work opportunities in that area. Besides SALT, any other specialized areas I should try to get some experience in? Also open to any tips and tricks to help tailor my workflow and experiences for the months to come.

Does where you get your masters degree matter? I’m in an online environmental science masters program at an expensive “name-brand” school, but have colleagues telling me I should transfer to a less expensive program to save $ because no one cares about where your degree is from. What are career paths after switching to an internal audit position in industry? Are you then stuck with internal audit?

I’ve been an engineer for my entire career (10 years), and I’m curious about what a move to product management would be like. I would love to hear experiences from those who have spent the bulk of their time in one role and then moved to a product management role. Did you enjoy the move or do you miss your old position?

Team just applied for a TS Clearance (defense agency). Trying to assess if it makes sense to wait till the clearance comes through (6 months to a year?) before I job hop. I'm hoping to get some clarity on the following:
1. Can my company withdraw or cancel my clearance if I leave right after I secure a TS?
2. In terms of compensation, how much value (% compensation) does a TS clearance have in the DC area? Places I'm considering: AWS, Azure, GCP, Data bricks, Appian etc.

I had my LWD on 27th june ,before a week of that i had HSbC last round in which I clearly told I wanted to join by 4th july as my next joining is due at that time.
HR agreed and told will fast track your bgv .
Now the problem is they released offer for 11thJuly saying will preponed in case bgv finished early.
Today I again got a mail for 18th july extension.

Am quite worried here now, as I already said no to other companies !should I try looking again.
