Say no to Bangalore. You may get a little more salary but everything else is expensive so you end up spending more. Apart from the so called weather, everything else is dull. I have seen traffic in mumbai, delhi and pune too but honestly bangalore will remind you of everything you have seen in north.
30 years of my life spent in north of india, I never faced racism. But here…
All good people I met here have either lived outside Karnataka for decades or are not Kannadigas.
Not sure on wfh part but I can comment on the City part. I have loved both in Pune and Bangalore.
Pune- Great weather, low cost of living with less rent, less traffic, small city, bad public transport and working in IT sector you get comparatively less opportunities
Bangalore- Amazing weather all around the year, high cost of living - concept of deposit is pathetic, high traffic, huge city with more amazing avenues to spend, great public transport and working in IT sector will bring crazy number of opportunities, It’s called as Silicon Valley of india for a reason.
If you want to save more money and have a relaxed life then nothing like Pune. If you want to spend, enjoy your life and make way more money then nothing like bangalore.
Thank you for your input
Shell is calling their employees back to office. So they don't have long term wfh plan.
Pro
Avoid Bangalore
Shell may not have long term wfh.
Thanks
