I believe improving one’s sales conversion rate is something everyone want to improve but no one wants to admit they would like to work it. Funny how lawyers will spend thousands on seminars to improve trial skills. But this topic is not discussed in our profession. I have read books in sales. But am unable to find any for lawyers. Does anyone know why so many Cuyahoga County Common Pleas judges require so much extra stuff with motions for default judgment? Some require an affidavit about service when it's right on the docket. Others require a letter sent with a notice of the hearing, when the clerk clearly does that. I have practiced in multiple other counties small and large and none of them have these.

Any advice for monitoring employees while working from home? Our phone system works from an app in our cells and we have remote access to our files and computers.
