I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. I’m making $140k. I have a college degree but no marketing, engineering, or product experience. What other departments/jobs could I jump to and still keep close to my OTE? I'm a 5 year experience UI developer in Angular with very little experience in Java backend.
My current CTC is 17.5lpa and I'm thinking to switch company for personal financial reasons.

Is it appropriate to expect a salary range between 40-45lpa given my experience and skills?

Are budgeted hours as big a deal at Big 4? I've legit been asked why I charged 8 hours one day on a client I was assigned 40 for the week. It makes it difficult to hit utilization targets too
