If you interview for a job but are not offered the position, is it weird to try to connect with some of your interviewers on LinkedIn? I genuinely liked some of my interviewers, but apparently the company identified a candidate whom it believes is a better fit.

I worked for three years after that when I left the company in 31st dec 2019, pandemic started and during that time I fond my interest in to stock market now looking for job in the same domain as equity research analyst for which i am pursuing a certification course in financial modeling and valuation.

Hey all! I went through the interviewing process with a company and we had a verbal agreement on X amount of salary per year. They liked me and extended an offer but the offer was for $15K less than what we agreed bc that’s what HR approved for. I was desperate so I took it. Accepting this offer meant that I had to relocate to the other side of the country. Omw that was 2500 miles, I received a call that they rescinded the offer. Is there anything legal that I can do to sue them?

Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? The acquisition was public so they can see Im no longer employed with the most recent work history on my resume

I have applied for the position of a consultant at Accenture and am currently ongoing the interview process.
I have successfully cleared the Skill 1 and Skill 2 interview rounds and was now expecting that the next would be the HR round.
I have been mailed that there is there is a third round before the HR round that is going to conducted the next week.
Skill 1: Pure Technical
Skill 2: Semi Technical + Managerial

What you I be expecting in this third round?

Interview for a Data Analytics consultant role and have been told there will be white-boarding exercises. How would you prepare for this? I’m guessing it will mostly be SQL but don’t want to assume.

I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!

All the reimbursement and other stuff which goes to partner for approval , does partner actually sits and review all those and approves it or does he have any secretary or assistant to approve all that.

Currently 4 expenses(1 internet, 2 Cab, 1 Flight) which are awaiting partners approval and I am really concerned if he's gonna come shouting at me 😂

Wanted to share about my job search experience, and happy to answer any questions. Over the last 18 months interviewed with the following companies and failed - McKinsey, BCG, KPMG, Oracle, Google, Invesco, Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Amazon, North highland, Microfocus, Atlassian, Orange, equifax, and a few others. Most of these are senior level positions, so interviews were tough. Didn’t get the job for one or the other reason. Finally accepted a offer with a large tech company. Keep on trying..

New to consulting. Joined here to experience the travel and hotel life for a bit. Unfortunately haven’t traveled at all due to pandemic but might get to travel soon. Any travel tips ? What to pack? How to travel?

I had two recruiters today reschedule a meeting. And this is the second time rescheduling. Honesty, not sure what value recruiters bring. Is this common now? Is it hard to have respect for people’s time and their schedule? Reschedule once I can understand. But twice is just stupidity. I hope AI wipes out all bad recruiters who don’t give af. Sorry for the vent. Maybe it’s just my bad luck then.

Will it profitable to stay in LTi as I have completed 17 months here and currently at P2 grade (Senior Software Engineer) ?
I'm working in CITi project since 17 months, premapped ro project so, not a single I was in bench til now. In this January they retained me with 70% hike :).
YOE - 5.6 years
Skills Set :- Java, Springboot, Microservices, SQL.

What all benefits I can get from LTi in next 6 months or so ?
Like Promotion to P3 and OnSite ?

Does the size of the deals you work on impact your exit opps? I'm considering a role at an MM firm (non-PA firm) and they mentioned the deals are usually in the $200M area of size, which I realize is smaller than big 4 deals
