I may have a better offer which could be shared only next week as approvals are in process , which offers me wfh option and a little better package and my joining in the next company LTI is on 8th Nov, I am unable to push the joining date to buy some time as HR denied on the same , please suggest me how should I tackle this situation as I’m more interested to join the one giving WFH ? After joining, both laptop and desktop is sent. Is it done for everyone or for specific domain? And does this mean the flexibility of working from anywhere ceases to exist?

I’m in Ontario but looking for Insight from anywhere in Canada.
We have a vaccine proof or (-) test policy for our office, we are mostly still remote. Is anyone dropping those requirements as our provincial governments also drop vac certificate regulations and other protections? I feel that our duty to keep employees safe at work means we should keep our policy in tact. (Masking is still required in all indoor spaces so that won’t change)

What are other office/hybrid workplace companies doing?

I want to work completely remote as I am lazy to travel 1hr to reach office and got used to WFH model. But my manager is kind of forcing me to come to office atleast once in a week and I want to negotiate it to once in a month.. any tips or suggestions for negotiation please.
