I have 6 years of exp in IT
Recently I got offer from Amdocs, From Naukri.com, I was applying as a mssql developer,
In interview also they asked regarding sql concepts.

But I am not clear about the job profile,
As they just scheduled the interview directly and it happened.

Will after joining they will move me to any in house tech, or the job will be relevant with my profile only.

I mean i am switching only to work on good tech. Dont want to get stuck again in in-house technology.

How many ME jobs did you apply to before landing your current position?

Do you typically apply to jobs that you have are missing some of the qualifications for? For example: Is it acceptable to apply for jobs where you have 70% of the qualifications? Where is the % threshold of not getting considered?

I’m looking to transition from my current sales role (purely operational) to a more creative/strategic role that involves public speaking/facilitation. Have some experience in sales development (mainly business development & strategic advice to C-level), branding/marketing, facilitation (as a side-job) and working with content creators.

I’m new to this space so not sure about what kind of roles there are?

I'm at wits end guys. After spending the past 2 years producing and learning new skills in the gaming industry. I'm completely unable to find work.
I have 8+ years of experience as a full stack web developer with a strong set of design skills having begun my career in User Experience Design. Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? Why is it that when ever I look at “entry level” jobs in IT they always want 2-4 years of experience. It’s entry level that means maybe some certifications if they didn’t major in the field or a degree in the field. Not 2-4 years already working in the field. Can someone please explain this to me?
