Is HARMAN really recruiting for permanent remote roles? Would they ask us to come to office after sometime? I am a bachelor woman supporting my sickly parents and can't move them out of city. And my city don't have harman office. HR did mention permanent remote, still want to confirm as I've heard many cases people were called back across different product based companies. I am not a developer but I work in CG. Since you mentioned you wish to have job security, I will suggest that only if you have given client rounds and have complete guarantee that you will be joining them from day 1 as billable resource, only then join CG.
People (especially lateral joinees) are struggling so much to get into projects. The bench size is huge. Once your profile starts getting old they would not care about your skills but will only care about tagging you in some or other project. I see people who have joined Months ago and still struggling to get projects. On the top of it, in few weeks some will start to bother you saying that, if you don't get project in this particular time they will terminate, not approve probation period etc. etc. So, if you have project confirmation then only join CG.
but i think this thing is for all service based company. sab me aaj kal esa hi chal raha he. jab tak projects chalta he tab tak thik he.
btw cg means capegemini?
Would suggest to join Principal. Have worked in Principal for 5 years and i find that very employee friendly and job security is very good.

Bhai,
I'm a QA Engineer with 11 yrs of manual testing experience but my current package is 16.09 guide me as well...
On a serious Note currently jobless not getting job in manual testing so learning java coding and automation.
tips to learn java coding,, how do I practice what approach should I take to learn logic and become a java coder
Buy a Udemy course. If not, spend time on YouTube focusing on a specific topic.
Before saying “I want to learn Automation”, ask yourself which core language you want to use for automation.
Since you already have experience, choose the language your product is built on—for example, Java. First, learn Java basics and OOP concepts. Then move on to automation using Java tools like Selenium or Rest Assured.
Progress only when you are confident with the fundamentals. If not, stay on step one until you are solid.
Eventually, you’ll realize it’s not the language that matters—it’s the approach
IT - cannot guarantee job security, until you are here choose highest package
Where you currently working?
Ask Capgemini to match
Your cctc? Capgemini looks safe option
Principal, its Fortune 500
if both are service based then go for high ctc. bcz nothing is permanent in service based

Things to consider:
For a service company, are you going to bench or have you given client interview.
If you know the client, do some research on the project or product. Some projects will be in maintainance mode hell !! No coming back from that
Also, notice period in the company is important when you decide to switch from there.
CG has a 3 month NP. Big big red flag.
I am an alumni of that company and I’d advice anyone to avoid it like the plague 😀
To much drama and politics to ensure for not enough pay tbh
Hope this helps
