TR is offering 30% more, but have heard there are frequent layoffs at TR

Should I choose Boeing over TR?

I was laid off, and I am now trying to pick up freelance while also on unemployment. Last week I made roughly double my UE benefits from a freelance job.

Does anyone know if this will disqualify me from future UE benefits, even though it was a temporary, one-time job?

Is it okay if I get fired from D after my H1B transfer for the new employer gets approved ?

I love my WFH in PwC India & base location of Kolkata. & the best thing is stability in PwC India, they never lay off!!

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs. After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). Add a terrible health situation in my family and it seems there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Ugh. 😞

The stress of this job ruined my life.
The stress has lead to an eating disorder that I can’t get control of. I’ve lost 25 pounds since starting at the firm two and a half years ago. I am 20 pounds less than I was in high school... I don’t know how to get control again. Even when the stress lays off I can’t eat more due to being used to being busy for almost 9 months out of the year...
