Hello fishes, need to decide between these two offers, any opinions please:
Current: 5.5 yoe, 15 fix, SAP, kolkata
Offer1: Infosys(kolkata) l CTC 19.5 (16.58 fix, var: 2.92 paid quarterly) l Consultant l Project unknown l 12 day hybrid
Offer2: Deloitte India(hyderabad) l CTC 20 (20 fix, var: upto 15% paid annually) l Senior Consultant, Banking project l All 5 days and alternate Saturdays from client office

Deloitte offer looks tempting but i worked in same kind of Bank project previously in client office ICICI it was toxic you don't have flexibility of WFH and even after your work hours they call you most times. I am thinking your client will be ICICI nd got to know from my ex colleague that Deloitte has got ICICI project.
Better go with infy and ask them to match Deloitte offer if they don't go for Deloitte because there is too much gap in pay...
If it's indian bank, then min 10-12 hrs per day and alternative saturday. All the best. 🤣
Please don’t count on Deloitte.. surely they will give hand .. they will say one day before joining date we will share location details and will hide forever 😁😀
Ok but how common is it?
Infosys variable is a myth. For first 6 months you will be in probation and no variable in that period. Next 6 months based on your performance which they will easily manipulate and give less. Don’t even calculate variable for first year
Ok but this is infosys limited, it's mentioned in offer letter that 50% of the variable amount is guaranteed during probation. Not sure after that but people say they always get above 70-80%. However, is this not what happens in reality?
It's not modern tech and they tried to do Azure modernize from old legacy which they failed to do due to which they lost many crores. You will be working on multiple things at same time and tight timelines because of bank domain and internal and external auditing as well.
I resigned with a year(8months). I was working on hybrid mode and WFH flexibility and they didn't told at time of interview that it is alternate 6days. I was really a nightmare for a hybrid guy to go 6days ofc.
