You should 100% contact your malpractice carrier. If you're basically being threatened for something you didn't do and you have the means to prove that you're in the right, I'd go for it, I wouldn't wait another second.

I have no advise but just wanted to say that I am sorry that you have to deal with it. It’s frustrating when clients are uncooperative but then fault you. This will all pass!
