I’ve worked 2 years at a non profit 501c 3 tech startup. When I started there were 6 employees we now have 22. I am considered a part of leadership and am a people manager in addition to my sales role. I am a high performer and last year got a 10% raise (which I asked for). This year I was offered 5%. Hello my fellow shoal of fish. I am seeking recommendations for a lounge chair in my office. I currently have the adjustable stand desk and a relatively comfortable office chair (not when reclining) but the other half of my office is empty. Does Globant terminates the employment of certain trainees after their probation(3 Months) based on their performance in the training period? Some of the fresher trainees were laid off this morning without giving a notice or reason.

We were told that the probation period is a training period & not an elimination one. It was shocking as a few of those trainees were actually good.

I’ve done 18 months of internal sustainability work such as building our sustainability practice, initiatives to get B CORP, SBTI, tracked carbon emissions, company campaigns for sustainability awareness, sustainability strategy. I want to move into a sustainability consulting role. Which area of sustainability consulting should I look at? Are there any courses or certifications I should do?

My partner is looking into going back to school for a masters in sustainability management. He is looking at a program through the Harvard Extension School Sustainability Management certificate.
