Today I learned a new thing. One candidate was referred by a colleague of mine in the system. He got selected and offer letter rolled out.

When he checked the system he realized the referral was not taken and the background system captured it as direct hire.

So my friend is not going to get any referral incentive.

Wondering if anyone else faced the same issue?

H1B visa stamped.

While applying for visa my company quoted 80K as compensation. Now they want to reduce it to 75K.

Most of my letters are from known experts. They want me to submit independent expert letters from people who can talk about the significance of my work to the Financial & Management field and US interest, from non-familiar persons. I want to move into a sustainability consulting role. Which area of sustainability consulting should I look at? Are there any courses or certifications I should do?

Hey folks, I am interested in sustainability and the entire finance aspect of it. However my exp in th area is woefully inadequate. I'm trying to read up. Currently in the finance transformation team at EY (not related at all to sustainability). And no background studies wise.
Is there any chance B4 hire ppl who are interested. Have been with the firm 5 years, but haven't asked yet if they can internally move me.
