I'm a little bit confused now
I got an offer from another company.
But I will be promoted to senior and will get the same salary package in the same company the othe company offered. But based on the DOJ , i should put paper now.if i put paper, I won't be promoted. And other company is not willing to offer more package except if I have any other offers in hand which I dn't have. What should I do ?. I work at Google Cloud in solutions engineering (I help develop quantitative business cases with sales teams for customers). My cash base + bonus is $220k (going to ignore equity). I have an MBA from the University of Chicago, not that it matters much in sales. I have always been in a consulting role but I think I can make more in sales. I have a competitive personality and I am bored.

1st Job - 90k…. Is this a good salary? Late to the game at 34. Don’t even know anything about personal finance. Basically feeling like an 18 year old over here with no knowledge of how to run my own life. Having to start over after long term controlling relationship where I was left out of all the finance stuff. So I’m lost TBH. Engineering makes sense, managing my money not so much.
