I need to chose between 2 offers viz. (1) Senior Consultant at Cognizant vs (2) Sr Associate at PwC . Both roles are for CIO Advisory. Salary is better at Cognizant by 10K annually. Any advice?

Upon reading the job description, it’s clear I will be doing a lot of sales and client consulting over actually coding. I know they have a FE SWE role open. How would you approach asking the recruiter if there are any SWE openings I could be considered for instead ?

How is the interview process in csg? I did complete my first round on Saturday. Since it was weeknd last night I was drunk and had hell face next morning in interview. I answered simple questions with troubling face and interviewer didn't ask me more than 3 questions . I got call for managerial round discussion. I'm still wondering how I got cleared in first round. For hiring a senior leader on your team, would you place higher value on a PMP cert or Six Sigma certification?

Even without LinkedIn, I see a lot of people younger than me in much better roles. They started off with relevant jobs right out of college. I graduated in 2009 when the economy tanked and worked in retail for years before I was finally able to land in corporate. Does anybody else struggle with this as well? I’m constantly comparing myself to others who are younger than me.

Why do tech people like Stratecherry so much? I don’t find it particularly insightful. Am I missing something?

For those of you who have done both, is it better to work at a large or small firm? I'm afraid I'd get lost in the crowd at one of the larger firms, but I'm worried I won't have as many opportunities at a boutique. Would love some insight.

When I’ve worked with service designers the output seems to be another version of a process map, are there other skills and experience needed?
