Most of the true Christians I know are not religious. They don’t identify with any religion. They are just good people. I count myself as one of them.
That is great brother. It doesn't matter denomination... Christian Jesus followers are what we are. Some create man made rules and don't always treat people the way Jesus said too.
Extreme + Religion = 🚩
Depends on the "Christian" giving it. Love doesn't hate. If you are truly using Love. There is going to be kindness, compassion and respect. That's the problem with a lot of people who claim to be Christian. They don't use it properly and get angry, hateful and mean. Jesus never did that unless people were using the temple in the wrong way.
Check out The Righteous Gemstones if you haven't yet!
Where is it streaming? Sounds familiar.
How EXTREME are you?
Like Mountain Dew level, Snap Into A Slim Jim level, or Project 2025 level?
Some people just don't know how to properly be a Christian, in the true meaning of being a follower of Jesus. People can be hypocritical. Angrily protesting pride events, and yelling rude, mean, horrible things at people. That's not right. Be there, show love, kindness, compassion and respect. And patience, people will probably talk to Christians in a civil conversation if we did this. We are meant to share the good news not the bad news.
Are you only going to focus on religious content? It’s kind of boxing yourself into one genre or type of work. Good luck. I’m sure there’s a mega church somewhere that’s looking to produce a recruitment video. Why don’t you start there? Or focus on real Christians that hold positions in power. Or do a documentary on the separation of church and state.
I appreciate the clarification. I was not acting as if Jesus said, or didn’t say, anything, so I’ll thank you in turn to not put words into my mouth.
I will suggest that what was in the hearts of the Pharisees was less hatred and more political opportunism. Jesus was a threat to their power in the community and they saw a way to get rid of that threat. They likely did the same with the other charismatic apocalyptic preachers who were extant at the time.
I’ll allow that by drawing a distinction between Pharisees and the entire Jewish world at the time, you’re not blaming ALL Jews.
You’re just blaming SOME Jews.
I maintain my position that blaming any human being or group of beings for the death of Jesus is a misrepresentation of the narrative and a theologically useless waste of time, and that attempts to place such blame have resulted in centuries of needless bloodshed.
I am also a filmmaker, but I haven't really lifted off the ground yet. I created Ravage Studios in early 2025 and am currently writing the first script. I'm also still in high school, so it is still a little tricky to find time to work on my projects. And this company isn't official yet. I'm still working on copyrights and all that.
Of course.
Hi Aaron, I think your responses here are dignified and decent.
I’m not sure how much help you’ll get here or in general, its a tough time for production companies and for narrative work in general. You need the sort of network that working in retail won’t offer. Maybe try to get your foot in the door on the ground floor somewhere to build your network more quickly.
I have a decent sized network across social media, Facebook more than others but still others.
I have experience. I have a few short films I have directed and produced including the sizzle reel for our upcoming Christian feature film THE WAITING ROOM, filming this fall as soon as we raise more funds.
I've worked on other films as well. Including non Christian movies. We are an independent Christian movie production company.
