Hello Sir, Could you help me to review my portfolio.
Risk : Mod to High
Horizon: 10 to 15

1) JM flexicap: 8k
2) Motilal midcap:8k
3) Quant small cap:5k

Lumpsum
pp ELSS:50k
motilal ELSS:30k

I want to do 15k SIP more and 20k in ELSS where should I invest or need any modifications in my portfolio.

Could please suggest any fund.

Can I go for JM and PP flexi cap both

PP flexicap is good. Only concern is the AUM size of 82k which is considered very large and may reduce flexibility for the fund manager

Hypothetical - generally if you have a need for a large sum of cash in ~3-5 years, it’s best to keep it in a HYSA. If longer time horizon, put it in the market so it can grow. (Assuming regular contributions/DCA in both scenarios) If you go the market direction, at what point do you pull it out of the market and back into an HYSA ahead of the purchase? 1 year out? 2 years out? Day of the sale?

About to have $80k to invest. Already maxed on tax advantaged accounts. I already own two rental properties and dont want more. I already have 3 months in a HYSA @3.5% and $380k in VTI VOO and some other mutual and etfs. I am not allowed to own crypto. I might want the money in a year to buy a house. What would you do with it?

Real talk. Are you all the ones buying $188.00 hiking pants, $72.00 merino wool t-shirts, $45.00 COTTON t-shirts, and $179.00 10 oz steaks (2 pack)?

I received a targeted email ad from Huckberry, which I like, but the stuff is really expensive. Maybe I'm just too elder millennial, or not hipster enough... But this ad got me worried that I am saving too much by not spending all of my disposable income on hiking pants. Should I defer student loan payments?

We are not looking for any private information, but more anecdotal evidence of issues that can be improved.

Have money invested in S&P 500, and now starting to regret not having diversified to international stocks as well. Would want to diversify now to buy a total stock market index, however since S&P 500 dropped more than that index, not sure it’s worth to crystallize losses to do that. The alternative is to stop buying S&P 500 and start buying other markets as separate ETFs, to eventually bring in line approx. with total stock market index. Any advice on the best course of action?

Not really a big law-related question but curious to what folks in big law think: is it worth getting a mortgage on an apt/house in a big city (like nyc or la) or better to just keep renting and invest that down payment/other property-related fees in a mutual fund?
