McKinsey & Company I had a second round of interview with McK 1 week back but no one got back to me yet.
I only received a link to login to McK website where the status my job application shows “In Progress”.
I am not sure whether it takes so much time for McK to respond after the second round. Is anybody aware of this?

Hi Fishes, I cleared technical and MCQ round at Accenture. And got a mail stating i have been selected for HR round. Later the same day a hr called and asked me to upload all documents and asked my expected CTC and stuff. Earlier in portal it was showing interviewing , now it shows review or pending and has a message ' we regret to inform that you experience does not align with req, we will contact if anything comes up' , what does this mean. How can they put something like this?

I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

Most law enforcement jobs, even security, delve quite a bit into your personal life. They want to know who you live with and have lived with for a period of years, your siblings your friends your social media. Often times you’ll go through psychological evaluations that well go even further, though in security rather than policing it won’t be AS in depth, I can definitely see questions like “how many kids do you have” being relatively standard.
Appreciate it, thank you for your input
I've actually been conducting interviews for the last week and most of the times that is my first question. " Tell me about yourself.. wife/husband , kids...what are your hobbies? How do you get rid of stress or decompress after a long day?" Most of the time in a oral interview they are also reading alot of body language..seeing how you deal with response. Eye contact, body posture, how you conduct yourself with an individual you don't know.
More than anything they want to make sure you’re not related or associated with family members who may have a criminal record or actively involved in criminal activity.
How is that uncomfortable? They ask those questions to see if you have time to work or if you would be committed because married people with kids have many things going on at their home that they either miss work a lot or call off sick all he time.
Sounds good to me a lot can be determined by a few questions, and a. Lot of attention to body language. 👍
Grow some and you decide if you want the job, if you can not make your own decisions how are you going to cope in a confrontation.

Lol jk 😜 just open your mind man and don't think your employer wants to harass you. See things with a positive perception. Maybe even share a few laughs with your possible future employer.
