It’s actually pretty good. I’ve been a global trial manager at Amgen for over 3 years and have worked on 4 different studies in 3 therapeutic areas Aand each time the teams have been wonderful. Much better than the experiences I’ve had at other companies. There is a level of respect that is always there and I haven’t seen any finger pointing so far in my experience. This is actually the reason I have stayed at Amgen so far more than anything else. People are professional and respectful.
It’s one of the most toxic work environments I have been a part of. Leadership is terrible and needs a giant overhaul. People become leaders not by merit and talent, but by politics and being friends with the right people. They will put leaders in positions that have no experience and no business being there or being leaders for that matter (I.e. Emily Razaqi).
I see that but honestly that’s at all pharma. I’ve been at Pfizer, Sanofi, and BMS and they all suck now. Not the same as it once was. It’s all favoritism now
