If I understand correctly, the sole disadvantage this has compared to a tax sheltered retirement account is that the quarterly dividends will be taxed? But even so, they’ll be taxed at a lower qualified dividend rate since I’m automatically reinvesting those dividends.

Once you get into a FAANG company, is it better to stay where you are or move around? I’m a dissatisfied with my current job but I have vesting stocks, work 9-5, and people to know and respect me. I am the sole provider for my family and value quality of life and stability. I have some interview requests from other FAANG companies that I know pay more but I worry about starting over. Anyone switch companies and either regret it or are glad they did?

Tech company lay offs….are they soon to be inevitable?!

There is lots of companies really taking a hit in the tech space. Is this something that people are nervous about? Many seem to still be having a hiring push but with the button falling (IMO this is still just start we have a long way to go to bottom out) will that halt and layoffs ensue? And if so, which depts do you think will get hit the hardest?
