One quick question regarding fresher salary package. If a person is from IIT and have 6 years of working experience in Teaching industry. After doing a full fledged Data Science Course, he is willing to join Walmart in field of Data Science. What is the starting package he can expect?

I am underpaid almost 30% in cyber security field how can I explain manager to increase my salary actually for some reason I don't want to Switch for next some months and I got to know from one trusted person in company our manager have forwarded our 4-5 employee name for appraisal due to many employee leaving company so should I take counter offer and show them before appraisal mail come or after appraisal mail ??
