AlixPartners I am expecting an offer for VP in financial crime/compliance and risk. I need to give them my compensation expectation. Currently working in Bank with 7+ YOE including 6 yrs in Big4 non-MBA (Masters in Finance). What is the total comp (base+bonus) that I can ask for? What is the general sign on bonus? Thanks in advance

What does Slalom’s Delivery Leadership team do?
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

I'd advise against any physical protesting during a pandemic. My sister's a doctor in NYC - don't make her choose who gets the ventilator again.
This is very true, thank you. I spent so much of this year strictly social distancing out of respect to my loved ones in healthcare, and need to remember to stay safe in this aspect as well
I’m a nyc fish living in soho! You’re good - go attend! I understand being scared. The news was really alarmist in some of their reporting.
You have an opportunity to actually be a witness and participant to history in the making. Go and observe, feel the emotion. You’ll walk away in awe. Trust me.
I participated in a March and I've seen a few every day while I'm still working during the day. From personal experience, they've been incredibly peaceful. There are police in front and behind the group blocking off streets from vehicles.
About 2 hours. I found it very moving, I'd recommend at least staying for a bit, if you feel overwhelmed you can always stay back!
Don’t feel obligated to protest if you’re scared. You can help out in other ways besides protesting. Donate, spread the word and educate others, sign petitions.

The Protest_NYC twitter page has a list of daily protest locations. They make updates on the status of protests throughout the day and you can see prior protest activity as well. Most have been peaceful. They also report police scanner info on the protests (e.g police sending vans to xyz location)
Thank you! I have been following justiceforgeorge exclusively, so this is helpful
Go protest, but be aware NYC has suspended habeas corpus
