Just wanted to understand the current market for US Tax Managers. I’m currently at ₹26.2L fixed with 9 years of experience and was promoted to Manager in 2024. I’m planning to switch and wanted to get a sense of what fixed compensation I can realistically expect.

If you’re comfortable sharing, could you mention your YOE, designation, company (optional), and fixed compensation? It would really help me benchmark. Thanks!

Just received an offer with expected / standard salary for role but no signing or relocation bonus. They know I don’t have any other offers which is why I assume they didn’t offer any signing bonus - do I have any chance of getting one without “leverage”?

Job offer… I’ve been offered a Client Service Associate role at JP Morgan (UK) and my expectations are around £35k but HR have said it’s around 32-33 and will get back to me next week. What’s a good ACD base salary at a well-known Bay Area tech company that’s not a FAANG.

My partner got a City of Toronto offer. Salary band is 104-121k. HR asked for his expectations and he said 115k. HR came back with a 106k offer stating nobody on the team makes that much so they cant offer it. Also said she is unsure if there is any wiggle room if any at all. I’ve looked at everyone on the team with the same titles salary on the sunshine list and the lowest I see is 121k. I assume there is an OT component of some sort but also can’t confirm. Thoughts? /negotiating advice?
