I need some honest advice.

I’m a Java developer(6 yoe) with a 2-year career gap and have been actively applying for the last few months. Initially, I was getting a few calls, but now I’ve noticed a complete drop—almost no responses recently.

Not sure if this is due to:

- Market conditions
- My resume/profile
- Or the gap affecting shortlisting

Has anyone else faced something similar? What changes helped you start getting callbacks again?

Any guidance would really help 🙏

Will i have any problem after joining this new MNC during background verification as per the standards?..

My husband and I just went through a few very difficult months. His mother passed after an aggressive disease and struggle, we had another family member pass, Covid, political climate, +. Just under the surface we are so sad. We have a very easy baby but a young child is still demanding. We are not motivated to work and I can’t figure out how to return to “normal.” I am not pulling my weight at work and generally can’t imagine being motivated like I was. Please send advice.

I am having an offer from a company for an senior software support profile with 15 fixed+1. My future aspirations are Devops. I have also received a counter from TCS for 12 CTC. Should I join on senior support role and then switch for Devops after preparation or should I stay back in TCS for some time and switch after preparation? In TCS my designation is system engi.
