I am currently working at Meta as a Recruiting Coordinator under contract. That contract will soon come to term in July. There hasn’t been any talks about extending my contract, so I am getting very nervous about potentially being out of work in July. I am a first gen corporate worker, and I have about 5 years of experience in recruitment. I have also recently finished my Masters in HR Management, so I wanted to jump on here and see if anyone has any tips for landing a new role?

Graduated in 2020, wanted to be a graphic designer, took a job at a startup in a social media role. The boss called me the "r" word for not handling entire 13-ish accounts roster well by myself. I quit. Found a role as social media specialist. Realized (again) that I hate social media. Moved to in-house mktg manager, only to be a glorified graphic designer / someone to call the city to cut down trees. I job hopped too much, I feel my portfolio is empty. How do I restart again? I feel defeated.

Has anyone ever worked out of a co-working space? Did you like it / did you get any social interaction out of it? I’m in a 100% remote role & the isolation is driving me crazy. (My team does everything via email or IM - phone & video calls are super rare) I’ve been considering working from a co-working space 1-2 days a week, but it’s so expensive I’d like to get some first-hand reviews first. Thanks!

Got offered 115K with 25-30% bonus for a fund accountant role with 3 years of public experience. Is that normal? Seems like really high. I live in NY to clarify. Combination of Big 4 and midsize experience. What’s the normal salary range for ppl in that range?

2: PwC - post-merger integration, DDV team (essentially M&A Consulting) - bigger city, always been keen to move

Coming as a Senior in Audit, with recent FDD exposure (2 deals, obviously not much). I was looking for something more than just number crunching, wanting a mix of quant / quali / strategic work. M&A Advisory or a Corp Strategy role is where I'm looking to end up long term.

What to expect from Mercer second round interviews for a data analyst position? (Behavioral)

I have just recently accepted a position as Director of Compliance at a Fin-Tech company here in Naples, FL.. My previous 17 YOE were strictly in the Financial industry. Does anyone know what the average salary is for this position? I have a sinking feeling that I accepted the role too quickly without comparing salaries. The position only pays $50k/year. That seems low to me.

Just started a new role 3 months ago and both my boss and co-worker have resigned within the first month. Is this a sign? Should I start looking elsewhere?

Has anyone ever left finance (or know someone that has) to do something completely different? My experience is split between FP&A and accounting and while I have progressed, I am becoming depressed b/c I feel like I’m in the wrong field. New hire here about to be up for staffing for the first time and sentiment at my firm seems to be worried/fearful about being unstaffed. Is it actually worrisome to be on the bench in this environment or is this just a product of highly ambitious over achievers worrying about not being constantly utilized?
