Do any of you feel like your parents treat you differently or take advantage of you after you started making a Biglaw salary? This has been my experience. The amount of times I’ve heard “you make a lot of money, you can afford _____ / should do ____with your money” is frustrating. I finally did it. I quit and turned in my resignation in June. I’m now have been working from home for United Health Care. I wished I would have done this years ago. I started teaching right out of college 20 years ago and thought all jobs were as bad as teaching I was so wrong. My new job is not stressful I now have a normal life and look forward to going to work.

Pregnant and in first trim with severe nausea. Was put on a team that is super understaffed and have hard deadlines like every week as the client is going through diff transactions.
