I currently work as a biomedical scientist but I want to change my career; so far I’ve done Salesforce Sale cloud consultant and Administrator exams and I am certified. I’m currently studying for the Service Cloud consultant certification .
So I would really appreciate if anyone could refer me for entry level roles in salesforce . I live in London, but I’m happy to relocate . Here’s my LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/modupe-olotu and the link to my online Portfolio https://mbosalesforcehow-to.carrd.co/
Has anyone interviewed with Amazon in the last 6 months. I finished my loop for a finance role. It’s been 8 business days and no update from the recruiter. I mailed the recruiter who said apologies for the delay but we will get back to you with next steps. Has anyone had this experience and what was the outcome Amazon
Any referer from Accenture?

Honestly, it sounds like a bad resume or lack of skill alignment with what you're applying for. A lot of people who get out think they're owed a good job, but I took a big step down when I got out, and it's taken me 8 years to get to where I am now. Humility will take you far.

I mean, how much of a step down do you expect me to take? In no way is this mean to be aggressive, but substantial underemployment hurts numerous Veterans already.
More of a mid-long term solution, but Salesforce does free training/certifications for vets. It used to have a strong job pipeline into pretty high-paying jobs. I’m not sure how the market is looking these days, but it’s something to consider

Was talking to someone today who turned me onto this Vet Tech program from the VA. Apparently they will pay you e-5 BAH to get a cyber security cert or learn how to code. Might also be worth looking into if you have the inclination. https://www.benefits.va.gov/GIBILL/FGIB/VetTecTrainingProviders.asp
Get your resume up in Clearance Jobs if you don’t have it already. My background is technical, but you never know what you might land in there. I interview companies that recruit me almost monthly. No application or inquiry submitted. Clearance jobs is pretty legit!

I will definitely look into that. Appreciate the lookout.

I wanted to add that I decided to go back instead of reserves this past July. I’m expecting if anyone replies to say go get your MBA but I say this in love, when I say that I need a job to make money.
Ah ok. At least that brings $$ through the door and options to go full time or take a deployment.
You can do part time MBA and work a job. Might be the way to skin the cat in your situation. Or do night time MBA with enough credits to hit the “full time” threshold so you get BAH. I’d imagine that and reserves pay would put you in a decent place

Nah, don't see it that way. Nothing wrong with using your network to find a way forward.
Have you used any other services like Hire Heroes USA or head hunters like LucasGroup or Orion Talent?

Houston has a few decent MBA programs you can use your GI Bill on and get (a small) cash flow going w the MAH. UT and A&M have PT programs (assuming you're an officer or enlisted w ug).
Briefly state your background and skillset to help the group get an idea of where to look to put in a good word.
If you want to chat, holler at me, I'm in Katy.

At a minimum I can put you in touch with some of the vet officers in my network. Some of them are recently separated Os and a few salty ones.
I can refer you to Accenture. Their vet hiring program brings you in as a senior analyst though. Usually will spend a year at SA before promotion to consultant.
You can get your MBA and go straight for consultant or manager.
Feel free to DM if that's the route you want to take.
