If the data is the same in terms of columns, you should make it into a table which you can update. The references would then stay the same in your formulas
oh so as long as the datas parameters stay the same and all the columns are identical AND its in a table, it should update perfectly?
Try INDEX MATCH.
First: If your data is continuous, copy the original data and place where needed; create the next column titled adjustments, enter the adjustments. Write a formula for the adjustments which will appear in the next column. Continue entering columns of data pertaining to these transactions and apply the appropriate formulas. This is like maintaining a city general ledger that constantly change.
To note, this scenario may be different from what you are trying to do, however it may provide insight into your situation.
