Massively varies, you’ll get more if you move around.
If you don’t move you’re looking at 50-55k
Average is around 60k
Teams with lots of silverware and top agency experience could get towards 65-70k
There’s also senior creatives at some agencies that don’t want to be CDs and they’ll be hovering around 70k
I'm not even close to that level, and I don't know many senior creative salaries. I thought that was big money when I was told, but I'm even more surprised now reading these comments. It was a publicis company.
A friend of mine got promoted to Sr AD a couple years ago (with the accompanying raise) and she just got a raise to like 55K. This is at a holding-pwned agency where she’s been all her career
I know the agency and the creative department there is small enough that if I name it I risk outing my friend. Let’s just say that it’s one of the big holding groups and she’s working on a client most people would want to work on.
I have no idea if 55K is too little for a senior but I do know that VCCP balked after I asked for 45K for a midweight role. London’s a bit stupid sometimes.
Pretty sure I’ve just seen a Snr AD job posted by Mavis London
Thanks, I will take a look!
50-110 is the whole range. 60-90 the most usual.
Senior creative is the longest step in a creative's career. Not the same to be a junior 7 years in than 14 years in. Some are ECDs who stepped down. Depends very much but less than 50 is mid, and more than that you've got to manage people.
