Hey Witches! I have an offer from Infy and another offer from product based company.
Infy is giving me X whereas the other one is offering X+2 lpa. Shall I go for counter offer with Infy? Do they entertain? If anyone has done so, please enlighten me.
Also, I have got chandigarh location in Infy, any idea what sort of project are there?
In product based company, I'll be working on there some proprietary application.
I wanted to understand if Infy can renegotiate and projects in Cdg location.

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

I mean what is the time of the year where requirements in most of the companies are at pick?

Like in Dec and March you will see less requirement due to Christmas and financial year ending. Similar what is the best period?

Because in my previous switch, 15 days were wasted due to Christmas and in March lot of requirements went on hold due to financial year ending.
