I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

Eh. I looked at it a while back and wasn’t enticed.
Drawbacks:
- 10% is only on 1 category/vendor at a time
- $1,000/mo max spending
- Not FDIC insured
- Fraud protection way less robust than credit card
You can switch the boosts as many times as you want and they switch each Friday. I use it to stock up on gift cards to Walmart. I usually get 10% to 20% cash back at Walmart and then I can use the gift cards for groceries and gas.
The $1,000 limit is for an ATM withdrawal. This shouldn’t be used as your primary bank as you have to link your primary bank’s account and debit card. It’s also not meant to be used as an everything card, because you only get a benefit for shopping at retailers with boosts. I recommend this in conjunction with a card like the Citi double cash back card or a travel card for all those other purchases.
Just like Venmo, I don’t keep a balance in there. I transfer money when I need to and withdraw to my regular checking out when I’m done.
I trust Square just like I trust Venmo’s security, so I personally don’t have an issue and haven’t had any issues.
