Can someone please share the current trends in joining/signing on bonus in Asset management industry.

I have an offer from an Asset Manager in London and it is slightly below my expectations. I want to approach them for a joining bonus but was not sure if it is a thing in asset management.

Also what is a good % to ask for a joining bonus [5%, 10% or 15%] of the base salary

I have 3yrs of experience with the same firm and am currently working as a sales analyst for the institutional sales team in NA. Currently working in Due Diligence and looking to switch to either IM or Consulting. I’m really looking to grow and I recently got an offer for a TP role at one of the big four. Should I take the offer and then pivot to a management consultant role from there or should I stay in banking and try to get myself into IM? What are my options? Thanks!
