Anyone ever heard of or worked for Sygnia?
I’m about to start an internship at IBM for UX Research. I’m super excited about it, and was wondering if anyone could tell me about the design culture there or how the company is for designers? So far online I’ve only heard about the company from consultants or software engineers. For more reference I’ll be working in Austin.

AWS cloud application architect. Had an on-site interview with AWS a few days ago and just got an email saying they want to talk to me about next steps. The role is cloud application architect but I want to ask them about the senior cloud application architect role. I have all the relevant experience for that role and feel like I’d be a better fit for that senior role. How should I approach this conversation? Is this even possible? Amazon

Project Management? Yeah, that sounds right.
Honestly, $170k base doesn’t sound too off for a programs lead role. Databricks is known for paying well, but it could be that the role is more focused on managing processes rather than technical execution. Could be worth asking about bonuses though or potential for growth in the position? I'd be very grateful for 170k base comp right now

The bigger question is WHERE is the job located. If it is in the Bay Area then $170K isn't below average. But, if the job is in Utah, it is above average.
As a national average, it sounds about right.

I mistyped... in the Bay Area $170K is BELOW average.
Thanks all. It’s a remote role and I’m located in the DC area
Currently exploring non-tech roles at Databricks and curious if if they share insights on what candidates can expect as for total compensation package? or you give them a number you want and they either said too high, too low or just right.
Hi OP, wondering how it goes? Did you go through the interview process?
