Hoping somebody might have some advice.

I’m in Australia and have worked in IT Support/Customer Support for most of my career. However, I’ve found I much prefer the human element to the tech element.

I have friends in HR and I feel I’m much better suited to that field.

I’m in my mid 30s and interested in switching to an HR role. I’m sure some of my skills are transferable but I have no idea how to make a career switch.

Any advice?

I’m thinking about transitioning to In-House from a big law firm where I practice Employee Benefits. Will employers consider me without the typical “corporate” or “litigation” experience?

In parallel I have learned powerbi, advance excel, basics of python, currently learning tableau as well.

How do you actually pass the Oracle Certification exams? The training videos are, let’s be honest, complete garbage. Is there some studying resource I’m missing?

Been with company for 2.5 years in a SFA role, and they just let me hire an associate financial analyst reporting into me. My manager never mentioned anything in regards to a promotion, but when I asked, I was told that there will be an evaluation period before any promotion is given. Has anyone else had this before, where you are managing someone but they don’t give you a promotion? Sounds bizarre to me that they allow me to hire someone but then are hesitant to promote.

I am a sophomore at University of Arizona and am a Public Health major while getting a minor in Marketing as well. Do you think this is the best route to get into Pharmaceutical Sales by getting both the health/science and business/sales background or is there better options out there? Thanks!!

Anyone else struggling with hormones / mood swings? I am almost 16 weeks and been having a real tough time lately, feeling really down and stressed about things. I have been laid off going on 3 months now and I’ve never felt so discouraged in my life. This job hunt for me has been frustrating and draining. It really has taken a toll on my mental health and maybe even confidence. I feel like I’m losing momentum. Any advice on staying positive throughout this journey? It’s so hard to stay upbeat and motivated at times.
