How do you actually pass the Oracle Certification exams? The training videos are, let’s be honest, complete garbage. Is there some studying resource I’m missing?

I got a GMAT waiver from the mba program I’m applying to due to COVID-19. Does it decrease my chances of admission since I don’t have a reported test score even though I got a waiver?

I exited to Google a few months ago. I’m enjoying my Strat role, based in Mountain View. However I still have thoughts of an MBA, mostly because it feels like I’d be missing out if I didn’t do one, not like I actually need one. I just turned 25, so I’ve got a little time. Curious to hear your thoughts if I should do one or not.

On a waitlist for an MBA program that specified we should only provide “significant” updates for the admissions committee to consider (GMAT scores, promotions, etc.). They reached out to inform me that they’ll be reviewing the waitlist shortly, and I should send in any updates ASAP. I’m not up for promotion (promoted right before I applied) and am not planning to retake the GMAT... should I still send something in addition to confirmation that I’d like to remain on the waitlist?

I really don't have time to take my CPA exam coming up. Going to lose one in the next couple of months. Client work is extremely demanding and yes I've talked to manager but the work is still there.

What carries more weight if you’re looking to break into leadership: MS from Columbia, or MBA from USC?

All else equal aiming for top MBA- better to be a big fish in small pond (top performer at boutique tier 3/4 firm) or middle performer at a Tier 2+ with better name recognition?

Thoughts on the iMBA at Illinois? Worth the 22k? I’m on track to Senior Manager and can’t justify two years off to pursue a top MBA, or spend over $100k for a top part-time MBA. Especially with a kid.

In consulting, you sign up to work yourself to the bone for 15ish years at well below market pay for the chance of making partner where you will still be somewhat below market for another 10 years working yourself to the bone for the chance at maybe being a senior partner for 10 years making decent money while still working insane hours all while paying for your boss’s salary and pension and their retired boss’s pension. What about this is appealing again?
