Hi All - Associate Partner / Principal at MBB. Deciding whether to play out rest of my consulting career (whether a few years or longer) in US vs. UK. US obviously pays better, but largely a wash factoring for exchange rate / cost of living. Wondering if spending next 2-5 years in UK would impact comp/ exit ops for exit to US? E.g. lower comp/ perceptions of smaller market experience. Appreciate it!

I am hearing that MBB is pausing majority of the interviews - should I be worried about my offer getting rescinded? I luckily got my offer a few months ago and received my signing bonus already.

Had a final round at BCG last Friday. After the interviews they said that the would release results today. Then I got an email today saying they will only give the results on the next Friday. What could have happened?? I also know some people how interviewed on the same day as mine and got a rejection email today.

Summer intern at BCG. I've been told by a few people that you need to spend your first few cases "earning your stripes" to gain staffing optionality or be servile/loyal to a pyramid to gain access to the cooler case work within that PA. It's seemed particularly emphasized at times.

Is this the standard at McK? I'm trying to guage the staffing optionality and openness of McKinsey culture to direct your random walk.
