Summer intern at BCG. I've been told by a few people that you need to spend your first few cases "earning your stripes" to gain staffing optionality or be servile/loyal to a pyramid to gain access to the cooler case work within that PA. It's seemed particularly emphasized at times.

Is this the standard at McK? I'm trying to guage the staffing optionality and openness of McKinsey culture to direct your random walk.

People at my company claim to be supportive, promote great work culture but there’s actually no support at all just bunch of bs. I am in a situation where im not getting the support from my supervisors, BDs and everyone is fake all the time. I am genuinely putting in the work and not getting the benefits I deserve. Had a final round at BCG last Friday. After the interviews they said that the would release results today. Then I got an email today saying they will only give the results on the next Friday. What could have happened?? I also know some people how interviewed on the same day as mine and got a rejection email today.

I've a question on what sections to put on a regular resume. I see some people are using consulting style resume for outside companies as well. Do you think it's a good idea to devide work experience by projets? Or is it better to have "projects highlights" separate from work experience.. something like: intro>functional expertise> project highlights>work experience>education?
